CATO BOLAM was formed by the merger of Cato Consultants and Bolam & Associates in January 2001. Both companies have many years' experience in surveying, planning, and land development consultancy and engineering. Cato Consultants' beginnings lie in the early 70's, and the organisation was incorporated as Cato Consultants in 1986. John Bolam established Bolam & Associates in Orewa in 1984.

The formation of CATO BOLAM from these two companies enables us to provide clients with a greater level of service, resources and expertise while still retaining the professionalism for which both organisations are known. We also work in association with other professionals to provide clients with specialist skills that are not available within CATO BOLAM.
