Surveying in Urban Areas
CATO BOLAM offers its services for cross-lease, unit title and freehold title subdivisions ranging from boundary adjustment and 1-lot infill subdivisions to major 100+ lot developments of greenfields urban land. As well as the more traditional types of urban subdivision, CATO BOLAM has developed expertise in subdivisions involving medium or high density residential developments. The company also has extensive experience in waterway developments on the Coromandel Peninsula and at Whangarei.

Surveying in Rural Areas
CATO BOLAM has had a long experience with subdivision in rural areas and can offer expertise and services for all forms of countryside residential, structure plan and farming block subdivisions, as well as subdivision based on the protection or enhancement of natural resources, such as bush or wetlands.

Topographical Surveys
CATO BOLAM provides a dedicated service for topographical surveys It is now a regular Council requirement for topographical information to be provided with subdivision and other resource consent applications. Topographical information can also be invaluable for site development, access and building design purposes.

Boundary Redefinition Surveys
Boundary redefinition is often required when selling or buying a property or when a boundary dispute arises. CATO BOLAM have the means to accurately locate and peg out boundaries, and to prepare plans of resurveyed boundaries to be lodged with Land Information New Zealand as a permanent record.

BOMA Surveys
CATO BOLAM is able to provide measurements of rented or leased areas for commercial and industrial building space. The method of measurement used is in keeping with the requirements of the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) and the New Zealand Property Institute.
