Waiuku Solar Farm

Sustainable, clean energy solutions are a crucial part of our future and we are proud to partner with New Zealand-owned and operated Lightyears Solar on renewable energy solutions.

The 2.3MW Waiuku solar project has over 4,000 solar panels and will produce enough energy to power 500 homes. The solar panel farm has two functions: generating energy and providing mixed land use grazing for pigs and other small livestock.

Cato Bolam has provided the planning for the land use consent, engineering for the earthworks and sediment control design, stormwater mitigation and management design, engineering consents, observation and certification.
